Q: What can I expect from my 1st visit to the gynaecologist?

1) She / He will confirm your pregnancy with a urine test.
2) Your weight and height will be recorded.
3) He/ She will ask about your family's medical history.
4) Blood pressure will also be taken.
5) An internal examination of the shape and size of your pelvis, your uterus and the age of the foetus.

My 1st examination by my gynaecologist was very uncomfortable as I was not used to someone examining my private areas so intensely. But I soon got over it after a few visits. So dont worry ok?:)
