I was discharged from KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). We went to register Lavinia's birth before we took her home. My mum came.
After registering Lavinia's birth, we went to my mum-in-law's house. We stayed there until at night. My mum was supposed to help me with my confinement. What a disaster!
My husband and I spent most of the night keeping awake because Lavinia kept on crying. My mum's only comment was, "She's hungry." She even asked me to change places with her on the bed so that Lavinia will not disturb her!
I was very irritated and told my mum that she was supposed to take care of Lavinia and me! My poor husband had to sleep in his sleeping bag on the floor.
