My hubby and I decided at the Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic when we brought Lavinia there for a check-up to tell my mum not to help with my confinement and to go back home. I was very irritated at that time with her and told her so on the phone.
Later, my brother-in-law came to help us shift the baby things and other confinement things from our house back to Ang Mo Kio (my mum-in-law's house). My hubby helped me to take our house keys back from my mum.
We waited for the men from the delivery company to deliver an oven and a Braun blender. We took the blender as a gift to my mother-in-law for helping us.
Little did I know that I was jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
